Polyvagal Theory in Clinical Practice Series: Integrating the Science of Safety, Connection, and Healing

This workshop series brings Polyvagal Theory into practical, clinical application, offering clinicians, therapists, and practitioners cutting-edge tools to support nervous system regulation, transform entrenched patterns, and expand the possibilities for healing. Each workshop combines didactic teaching, experiential learning, and live demonstrations, giving participants both a deep theoretical foundation and hands-on strategies to integrate into their work.

Workshops in the Series:

Session 1 - January 23, 2026

Somatic Applications of Applied Polyvagal Theory: Where Theory Comes to Life in the Therapy Room

A full-day workshop where Polyvagal Theory is applied in real time through live clinical demonstrations. Participants learn to work directly with the nervous system to support downregulation and create lasting change.

Session 2 - February 6, 2026

Working with Attachment through the Lens of the Nervous System: Expanding Capacity for Connection and Safety

Integrates Polyvagal Theory and attachment science to help clinicians strengthen their clients’ capacity for secure, flexible, and resilient relationships through practical tools and experiential practices.

Session 3 - February 27, 2026

Healing Core Beliefs Through the Nervous System: Transforming Stuck Patterns into Pathways of Change

Examines how developmental wounding shapes core beliefs, and provides practitioners with nervous-system-based strategies to release entrenched patterns and support clients in reclaiming freedom and agency.

Session 4 - March 20, 2026

Beyond Fight/Flight/Freeze: The Neurobiology of Fawning and Appeasement: Where Adaptive Responses Meet Healing Possibilities

Explores the neurobiology of fawning and appeasement as adaptive trauma responses, offering clinicians strategies to recognize and transform survival patterns into pathways toward agency and authenticity.

These workshops can be taken individually as stand-alone trainings, or bundled together as a series at a discounted rate. Together, they form a comprehensive, somatically grounded learning experience that equips practitioners with the knowledge and skills to bring Polyvagal Theory to life in their clinical practice.
